Spicewell is a small South African company based in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. We make single-spice capsules — turmeric, ginger, Ceylon cinnamon, garlic, moringa and a few others — and we write plain-language guides to each one.
We started because the shelves are full of spice supplements with big promises and little information. Our view is simple: tell people what the research actually shows, including where it is weak, and be clear about who should not take a product.
What we believe
- One spice per bottle, with the plant’s Latin name and the part used on the label.
- Honest evidence ratings. Most spices are "promising but not proven", and we say so.
- Safety information as prominent as the benefits.
- Every batch traceable, with its lab results available on request.
